Payment & Purchase Policy:

This site uses PAYPAL to accept payments. I ship in the USA Only at the moment! No item will be shipped until payment is received. No custom request will be started until payment has been made. We also will not make something "so you can see how it looks." We try to avoid overworking and exhausting resources.

Customer satisfaction is very important to us, if you have a problem with your order, it can be returned for something more acceptable. We only ask that you pay the shipping costs. If you want to cancel an order, please try to do it within 2 days of purchasing to reduce the likelihood of me beginning to make it, or it being shipped and you having to return it to me. Please have a logical reason to need a refund. We prefer to give store credit or swap for another item, instead.

J and L Goods is for gift purposes or personal use. We spend a lot of time developing our own patterns! If you wish to order J and L Goods items for your boutique or store, we can supply wholesale when asked.

Shipping Policy

Shipping is usually done within 3-7 days after a purchase is made. At times it may be longer if we have a lot of orders to process, or if it is a public holiday - especially Easter and Christmas times. Customers are always notified of any changes or delays in shipping, by email.
If we have to send a box with multiple items it can reach in 7-10 days.

Customers will be notified whenever the item has been mailed via email. The tracking number will be included in your email.
We set our shipping costs according to the post office's rates.

PLEASE notify us first if you want your item in a very short period of time! Otherwise, we will have to refund. We really wish to AVOID spending extra money or labor on a customer who did not express urgency before purchasing! We also will not be enthusiastic to refund any money once we have already started the order.

Also, for Shea Butter orders, during the warmer months your Body butter may melt during transit. (Or if left in a hot car) If this should happen, place your butter in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes so it can solidify. The consistency of the butter will change slightly, but it is perfectly fine to use. Keep in a cool dry area.

Return Policy

We really take great care and pride in everything we make, and we describe items correctly so that there are no surprises when they arrive. We prefer exchanges rather than refunds if you have a problem with your item after receiving it. All our items are made with time and great care. I don’t like it 'just because' isn't a valid reason for a refund.

However, a refund will be given if the item can be resold. The item will need to be returned safely before a refund or exchange is given.
We really do not wish to process refunds because of the care, time, and money we spend on each item. So we hope that whatever the issue, we can come to a mutual agreement for an exchange or refund if you are dissatisfied. Talk to us openly yet respectfully and we will be more inclined.

If something is lost in the mail and it cannot be found by tracking, it will be refunded between 6-8 weeks to ensure it won't show up. If the item shows up, you may either resend payment or send it back to me in a similar envelope and in its packaging. If possible, and agreed upon, we will replace the item lost.

No refunds on custom-made or made-to-order items i.e. tams, hats… You can feel free to send it back to be refitted, just pay return shipping. It must not be worn.

Please contact us within 24 hours of purchasing or receiving your item and we can mutually work something out. We are a reasonable, respectable and honest people, we just ask all our customers to be the same!
